Hands-On Guitar Workshops
Build confidence. Master your craft.
Leave with more than just a guitar.
Setup Master Workshop
3 hours - $180
Your guitar should feel like it was built just for you.
In this hands-on workshop, I’ll walk you through the exact steps I use when setting up my own heirloom guitars and premium client builds. You'll learn how to:
- truss rod precisely for neck relief
- check, polish and dress frets and fret ends
- action height at the nut and saddle
- intonation for accurate pitch up the neck
We’ll use real tools—not shortcuts—and make sure your guitar plays clean, feels smooth, and sounds its best. You’ll leave with:
- A guitar that’s fully dialed-in for you
- The ability to do it again, whenever you need
- recommended tool list
- A setup sheet with personalized specs and targets
No more waiting weeks for a tech. No more guesswork.
Just you, your guitar, and the confidence to keep it playing right.
Fret Leveling and Dressing Workshop
4 - 5 hours - $400
Buzzing frets. Choked bends. Notes that die when they should sing. This is how you fix all of it.
In this deep-dive workshop, I’ll teach you the same precision fretwork I use on my high-end builds. We’ll cover:
- level frets for consistent action and clarity
- crown and shape for perfect intonation
- dress and polish so every note feels like glass
You’ll work on your own guitar, learning by doing—no plastic practice necks here.
By the end, your fretboard will feel new. Your bends will breathe. And your guitar will finally play like it always should have.
Not for beginners. But if you’re ready to level up—literally—you’ll never look at frets the same way again.

Want to build an Acoustic Guitar with Me?
Every month, I take on just two student builds.
This is not a class. It’s a guided one-on-one apprenticeship—where you’ll build a professional-grade steel string guitar from raw wood to final note, using the same methods and standards I use on my own heirloom instruments.
Builds take 6–10 days, depending on your pace and the build, and start at $4,000 depending on materials. You'll learn every step—joint by joint, brace by brace, finish to final setup.
This is slow craft, done right. Your name will be in it. Your fingerprint will be in the tone.
If you're serious about building your own acoustic guitar, click below to apply.
My workshops are all about hands-on learning, combining practical knowledge with a fun, relaxed vibe. Whether you’re looking to fine-tune your skills or build a custom guitar from scratch, you’ll leave with real skills and a guitar that feels custom-made
Mark B. said: "This is a bucket list item for me. I never thought I would be able to do this." Join our 2-day workshop to craft, refine, and perfect your dream guitar, guided by expert hands every step of the way. Make it your own, and make it unforgettable.
